Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-02-16
Welcome to Site Rescue. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the services we provide, including code completion, design implementation, CMS integration, performance optimization, SEO & GEO targeting, and deployment assistance. By using our website or engaging our services you agree to these Terms.
Services and Quotations
We provide bespoke services and will supply a quote and estimated timeline after a free assessment. Quotes are valid for the period specified in the quote. The scope of work will be agreed in writing before any chargeable work begins.
Accepting Work and Payment
Acceptance of a quote constitutes an agreement to provide the described services and to pay the fees specified. Payment terms will be detailed in the quote or invoice. We may require a deposit before starting work. Late payments may incur interest or suspension of services.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide necessary access, credentials, and information in a timely manner. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have legal rights to any content, code, or assets provided. Backing up existing sites and data before work begins is strongly recommended.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed, clients retain ownership of their site content and custom code delivered as part of the project upon full payment. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools, libraries, frameworks, or templates used in the project unless explicitly assigned in writing.
Confidentiality and NDAs
We treat client information as confidential and will sign NDAs on request. However, we may share information with subcontractors or third-party providers as necessary to fulfill services, and such parties will be bound to confidentiality obligations.
Warranties and Disclaimers
We aim to deliver high-quality services, but except as expressly provided in a written agreement, Site Rescue provides services "as is" and disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied. For more detail see our Disclaimer page.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from services or the website is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the relevant services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Termination and Cancellation
Either party may terminate an agreement according to the terms set out in the project contract. Fees for work completed up to termination are payable. Refund and cancellation policies will be specified in the quote or contract.
Third-Party Services
Our work may install, configure, or rely on third-party services (hosting, plugins, APIs). Clients may be responsible for third-party fees and must accept the third-party terms where applicable.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Site Rescue operates. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
